Bought a tourmaster mesh jacket this past winter, and love it! Took out the inner liner for the Arizona summer heat and took a ride in 97 degrees, was not too bad. I am sure any temp over that will be bad though

I'm going to differ here. Mesh is jus not going to protect nearly as well as leather. Sold mine a decade ago.

A good perfed leather jacket/suit is going to flow air and get you the protection you want. Alpinestars makes some that really flow a lot of air. What is your skin worth? I value mine a lot so quality gear is not something I go cheap on. I'd rather have more protection and be less comfortable vs. the other way around.

I ride in 100 degree temps with high humidity all summer. Perfed leather works fine for me.
