Fuel Problem

    Okay so i gotta question...i put fuel in my tank and it spills out from the On/Off/Reserve dial. What would cause that. and how in the hell do i fix it ASAP

    Is it from the peckcock...? did you check all the hose make sure no cut on the line?

    Sounds like the seals in your fuel petcock are shot. Gaskets/seals are available. Check places like cheapcycleparts, bikebandit, and oldbikebarn.

    Take the screw ot of the center of the dial and the valve is under that secured with a couple of screws. Was the tank stored dry?

    it had fuel in there for some years and then cleaned and stored dry...ill get new petcock and gasket seals. ill keep you all posted

    I need the exact same 3-ring gasket for an 86 VFR750. The whole assembly can be found for $45 but I only need the gasket. Anyone know a decent place to find these?
