I am try trying to change/bleed by clutch fluid. I recently purchased the bike and it had been dropped on the left side. When the bike was dropped it clutch cylinder. I ordered a used one from ebay(probably my problen :( ) . I have bleed brakes before on a car but never a motorcycle clutch. No matter what I try I can't get any pressure. Am I correct in guessing I need a rebuild kit? Or am I missing something? I topped up the fluid (DOT3) and have tried with the bleeder open and closed with no results.

    Much Thanks

It always seems to help if you remove the slave and sprocket cover, then use a C-clamp to retract and hold the piston in.

Also, try bleeding the mc up at the banjo bolt first.

If that won't work, get a large syringe and reverse bleed by injecting fluid into the bleed nipple (with the mc cover off and covered by rags).

    Thanks Squirrel man,
Turned out to just be crap in the MC. Once I completely cleaned it I was able to get it working :)
