Starting problem 1996 vfr 750 track bike

    I'll give that a try....I spoke to the original owner and he said there is a very specific starting sequence you need to do to disengage all of the safety features, I may be doing one of those steps out of order.

    I tried it yesterday in the order he said and it fired rigth up.

    It only does it first thing in the morning, after I run it once it starts on the first time, every time.

    i changed r/r fixed one burned wire that goes to r/r and battery is new i hav no clue i read something about a 30 amp or fuse next to the r/r but i dont see it unless its in the little black box tide with the wire harnest....any ideas thx

    There is a 30 amp fuse next to the starter relay in front of the battery that is connected to the r/r. That connecter also tends to fry. If you search "How to fix common regulator/Stator failures" You'll find a run down on the most common electrical issues.
