^^ -- Dunno what to add, but is your neg from the R/R good? I have mine direct to the battery. Going to the alum frame isnt bad either.
-- Couldnt tell from your pix, but hope you have a fuse on the pos side.
-- IMHO, your probly not gaining much with the fan. It doesnt hurt though.

--- You have a meter up front so just ride it and keep an eye on trends. If it heads north higher V, then ok something needs attention.

Positive definitely has an inline 30A fuse and is connected directly to the battery positive, both negative wires are directly connected to the battery negative, as previously mentioned everything is directly soldered together no more shitty connectors. And yeah it stays ALWAYS at 14.8V when I ride... I will definitely keep an eye on it but im worried now for idle being to high, any ideas here?

Oh and btw the fan was there from my prior attempts to solve the issue, I think it got installed along with R/R #2 or 3 :s and as you said, it cant hurt to keep it there!

Rather than depending upon the wiring harness to lead the r/r wires to ground, it may possibly help to attach a wire directly from one of the green r/r wires to the battery negative post.

Everything is directly connected to the battery (positive side is 30A fused of course)!

Any reliance on stock or OEM regulator/rectifiers, is like Russian Roulette or the dude that tells ya he is never going to go down.
