Wow! That adds up fast, and for just a tip over. No wonder insurance cost what does for our bikes. At least you weren't on the bike at the time!

That sux. Hope you checked to make sure the driver of that stinky lud and obnoxious Dodge was not traumatized too much. You should have known he would try to turn around there and found a more suitable place to park your bike. This is all your fault. JK

Are you going to change your handle to Captain Not Happy?

Hope you get it back on the road in short order and enjoy the pending summer.

Yeah I should be NOT happy, but stuff happens sometimes. Or as Ron White says, "You just can't fix stupid." One of the better parts about it was there was about a dozen bikes parked right there. Designated motorcycle parking at my work. Mine is the only one that isn't a "cruiser" type bike. Must have been just too easy of a target to spot! lol

no pictures ??? this is precisely why i drive a 1 ton Ford !!!! what an idiot...so i guess there's damage on one side from the hit and the other side from the landing ? i bet this bike would cost $100 grand if you bought it from the parts catalog !! my little fender eliminator incident cost $500 to replace the rear fender, license plate bracket and light

Nah. No pictures. I got it right to my Honda guy and they started taking it apart the same day. They said, they'd just square up with the insurance company when the time came. Luckily, the insurance company got back to me today and said they would be taking care of it of course. Just a matter of the adjuster dude getting to the bike and approving the repairs so they can cut a check....

Some people just shouldn't drive anything bigger than a Fiat 500.

Back up sensors are apparently an option for the Fiat 500. I'd say, if you need electronic help backing up a Cinquecento, you have no business driving, period.

Glad the captain is getting it sorted out.

not that you have too post them here, but, i found that documenting the scene of the accident and the damage helped greatly with processing my claim
