Something is jacked up with the front forks. NO WAY they should be that close to the oil cooler. Here is a head on from my '03, and notice the gap...

    Thank you for your replies!

91talon : could you take a measure of the bottom of the rad to the floor when there is no one on the bike please
And if you can take the measure between the rad and the chromed bar at the closest position

It will help me to compare if my nose is really too much low or the rad too close to the fork

    Thank you again !

I'm with tink. The VERY FIRST PICTURE shows that the oil cooler is bent. If the oil cooler is bent, so is the mounting bracket.

Fix these two issues, and you won't have clearance problems anymore.

On a side note, it's amazing to me how many messed up oil coolers are for sale on eBay. Look at this gem:

It can be yours for the princely sum of $45.00 + $8.50 shipping.

Agreed. Fix the mounting and oil cooler first.

Hopefully these pictures of my 2007 will give you a better understanding of just how far that oil cooler has been pushed back!

As you can see I can put most of my hand in the gap between the fork protectors and the radiator fins.

This picture may help you work out how much further forward you need to move that radiator and how much you need to reroute the pipework.

    Hello guys,

Some of you were right, my radiator was bent. I just removed my fairing and it was clear!

I unfolded (can I say that?) it a little bit and it's fine now. The gap isn't like factory, but I'll change it with both new piping this winter!

Yeah, I was going to say... I've got in the area of 50-55mm of space from the front of the forks, IIRC.
