Need help identifying holes so I know if I need to order parts...

    image.jpg

The square cuts about the luggage screws? Also are the screws supposed to stick out so far?

I think the black metal brackets are for passanger handles.

And the rectangle cut out above the brake light? No idea.

I'm sure they all serve a purpose... but did they originally come with caps or something? Or are they supposed to be "empty" cut outs?

    Thanks!!

As far as the rectangle cut out on the back end, I have no idea. My bike doesn't have anything there either. But the next set forward is for grab handles, and for the square cutouts farthest forward in the picture, there is supposed to be a plastic spacer of sorts in that space. However, I don't know how essential it really is. Also the luggage screws on mine probably stick out about that far. Combined with the grab handles, they're pretty nice for hooking a cargo net onto.

If you notice on some bikes they have a cowling where the back seat is, the tabs for the cowling fit in the rectangular holes

You're also missing the passenger grab rails they unscrew if you want to put the solo seat cowl on.
Honda has a rubber VFR logo that you stick in the rectangular hole by the corgin tag if you have the cowl off.

Back hole and side slots are for cowling that fits over seat when you want to go solo. They both have blavk fillers when not in use. The hole in seat I have never seen and its not on mine. looks like you have the wrong bolts on the side for tieing things to.

The two long bolts that stick out on both sides like the neck bolts on Frankenstein (Frankenbolts) are the ones that hold the rear seat cowl on. The rectangular holes above it are for the seat cowl tabs to slide into. Same thing for the bigger rectangular slot in the back. When the seat cowl is not on, there are black hard plastic tabs that fill the space for the frankenbolt and a soft rubber VFR logo plug for the back slot.

Also of note, the frankenbolt location is where luggage mounting kits attach to the bike. For your Corbin seat, there should be a hole in the back for where the backrest slides in then gets a retaining screw on the bottom of the seat pan to hold it into place.

    I think that is everything.
