    Hey guys how's it going?!
Just joined the forum and will hopefully be around quite often. I am planning on picking up an 86 tomorrow night and I'm looking for any buying pointers anyone can throw out? What to look for and what to check. Ive owned a few bikes just not a vf500. It has 30,000 miles on it and the only issues according to the seller is the starter button sticks on occasion and the bike idles low. My plans are to clean it up and ride the crap out of it :) any help is greatly appreciated!
    Thanks

These are good little bikes, but you've got to make sure you keep up with the valve adjustments. Ask the owner if they've ever done one. If not, then that should be at the top of your list. They are definitely known for dropping valves. Let us know if you pick it up.
