I bought the motomaster moto jack on sale for my vfr800 but after unbox it I was wonder how I can jack my vfr800 off, because there no block under the vfr800 that I see hard enough to support the weight. Can someone could tell me how I can use it to lift my vfr800?? Thank you!

Google Image Result for http://s7d5.scene7.com/is/image/CanadianTire/0091015_1%3F%24thumbnail%24%26defaultImage%3Dimage_na_EN If this is the sort of jack you are speaking of, I've not seen it work well for most sportbikes, or otherbikes for that matter. The way it's setup makes it difficult to locate both pads on strong components, locate the jack in such a way to have the bike balanced in the air, and nearly impossible to locate the jack where it won't be directly in the way of you working.

Center stand (standard on the bike, I'm assuming it's still there) and a nice set of front and rear stands work wonders for getting the girl off the ground for standard service/maintenance.

Depends on the kind of work you are doing, but - some guys just set the jack under the headers and balance it out. For a major job,
I pull the headers off the bike and built a little 2 x 4 block stand to set it on. Worked great.

For the usual front tire change or brake work, a front stand is a better option.
