I'm looking for a new windscreen for my VFR800. I want it in dark smoke. The same color as a dark smoked shield for your helmet.

Any suggestions on brands and colors? Links? Pictures?

I have a few albeit not great pics of a ZeroG Double Bubble in Dark Smoke if you want to check them out. Its taller than stock by a few inches. I've owned same brand on 4/5 bikes they are pretty dark so looking through is out, keep that in mind.

Depending on the ride, I use either the Double Bubble or Sport Touring Shields from Zero G. They are both light smoke, and match the tint of the smoke face shield for my Shoei. I believe that the dark smoke versions look black and are pretty much opaque.

I bought both of mine as factory "seconds" on ebay, and saved about half over list price. I can't find any flaws in either one.

If you expect to look through it, go for the light smoke.

Check Zero Gravity's website for what's available. CLICKY

I would recommend buying through ZG Outlet for wholesale pricing. Not the most professional setup, but they are reliable. They're the guys selling the discount 2nd's on eBay. Through the ZG Outlet website, you can request 2nd's (flawed) or 1st's for a few bucks more.

The ZG Outlet is actually Zero Gravity selling direct to consumers, much to the dislike of motorcycle shops. (I used to live a few miles from their manufacturing facilities and walked in to pickup stuff purchased from ZG Outlet). But considering no shops keep our windscreens in stock, I completely support buying direct.

It's not here yet and won't be for another two weeks, but I've got an MRA Spoilerscreen coming in Light Smoke for my '04 VFR, and can take a couple pictures if you would like once it's installed.

I have 3 wind screens- stock, Zero G DB, and Givi tall. I usally ride with DB, but when I tour, I slap on the Givi which is 4" taller than the DB. It just looks goofy.

Did the screen fit well? It seems like they have 3 models for VFR. Standard, racing and touring.

No, called Twisted Throttle on that a couple days ago, it was back ordered and I should have it in about 10 days, so maybe around May 7? I'm eager to get the thing and will report on it when I have it. Gen-Mar risers are also here, I'm doing both at once, so I'm really wishing the screen was here now.
