I'm interested in purchasing a Gen 6 Viffer. I'd really like one in pearl white with hard bags. I found one in NC, and the handlebars are not stock. Can anyone tell me about these?

That bike looks like the upper fork brace was changed as well as the bars but the fork tubes look stock. Hmmmmmm

Nice set up! You can almost see the name of the bars in white letters at the bottom of the picture.

I would e-mail the owner and ask if I were you.

No this is quite unusual. Most Viffer owners install Helibars or equivalent. This guy did a more energetic and costly mod but it looks nice.

That's the bike at the dealership back east is it not? Why not ask the someone from the dealership to ask the previous owner? Of course if you don't get an answer here that is.

They are the LSL Bars and riser kit from Spiegler. I should know, as they are identical to mine, with the exception, that I bought a black bar for my red 05

    1. There is a white 06 at my local dealer. Two Bros pipe, no bags. 10K mi. B&E Honda in Valparaiso, IN

    2. The dirt bike bar mod shown above is a common mod for the SV650s. (my previous bike) The "s" model has low clip ons but the naked model has a top triple with handlebar clamps. Folks swap the top tree from the naked to the S model and put on bars like from a dirt bike. I thought about doing this on mine but I just bought Heli bars instead. It does seem odd to see it on a VFR.

That's the LEFT one :) But seriously, why do you need to know ? If you are happy that someone changed Honda's clip-ons to a single bar with adaptors, then fine, if not a new (secondhand) top yoke & clip-ons are not expensive to return it to original.

That is an expensive set up. I wouldn't let that deter me from buying it.
Many people on here prefer some kind of bar modification to relax the riding position.
