The last couple weeks I have been going on some longer rides with my Father who has a Honda ST1300. I have noticed that the wind is deflected right on to my chest and buffets my helmet. I have a 2006 VFR and I am about 5'10".

I have looked up some windshields but really have not found reviews for them, so I am turning to this forum for some help. I am looking at:

    Cee and Baileys

    Zero Gravity

    Givi

Are there any others that I should be looking at? If not, and you have one these on your VFR, how do you like it?

As far as the screen goes.
Another member on here (Stoshmonster) has a good post, with pictures, that compares a couple of aftermarket brands. (sorry i'm lazy and cant find the post)

I have a Puig "Racing Screen" and am very happy with it (more sport touring, much taller than stock, but can still crouch and deflect all the air over my helmet). It is much better than the stock screen, $80 well spent.

Is that kind of like the double bubble? I like the look of double bubble was not sure on how much more it would deflect then the stock. I know i don't want a touring screen, it takes away from the look of the bike. Ill take a look at that other post by stoshmonster.

I have the DB and the wind blast is still pretty brutal when you hit the slab going 65+.
There is some improvement when going normal person speeds.
If your trips have a lot of highway I'd try out a tourer screen.

Hey thanks guys, all the information and pictures have been helpful. I like the look of the Puig DB screen the most, and seems like its the best price out there that I can find right now. GUJ, do you like the dark smoke or would you prefer the smoked screen?

I like the dark smoke, it helps cut down the sun/glare on the gauges.

So I ordered both smoke and dark smoke Puig DB..... I think I am going with the Dark Smoke, the smoke is actually more clear the the OEM screen. GUJ, did the top screw holes on your windscreen just have a 'half-moon' shape? photo(1).jpg ..... Also, was your shield a perfect fit? photo.jpg

I know they were not holes, but I thought they were "J" type slots. Could be wrong, and since you have pictures I'm leaning towards the half moon.

I dont think it was that far off, but it was not perfect.

Alright thanks, I am installing it right now. But the previous owner of the bike did not mention that the screw hole for the top of the windscreen broke off from the plastic. So I am trying to Epoxy that back on before I finish.

I have tried both the extended over stock and the double bubble version. I disagree with Durk. I did over 120 miles at 85 mph or above yesterday and never felt like the wind was an issue with the DB installed. In fact I wish the wind had hit me a bit more in the chest so that I didn't have to work my back and thighs as much to maintain proper position.
