Has anyone had any problems putting the Y2K mirrors on a 98 model?

My understanding was that they bolt right up.

I've ordered a pair and they arrived today. The bolt holes don't line up and the angle of the mirrors is just all wrong.

Unfortunately, I had to order them off eBay (shipped from UK) as not many places would ship to Australia.

Rather than starting a new thread, I'll update this one.

I'm in Australia, and I'm struggling to find decent aftermarket mirrors at a decent price. By decent price I mean not paying over $100 freight for mirrors that cost $50.

eBay has a few, but after being burnt once with mirrors that just ont fit, I'm a little skeptical. I'd love the EMGO mirrors but can't find anyone who sends to Australia.

So does anyone have links, or links to eBay sellers who have decent aftermarket 2000 VFR mirrors that will fit a 98 model properly and who ship to Australia?

My other alternative is to buy OEM Honda mirrors which are a little more expensive.

I installed the 2000 Honda OEM mirrors on my 1998. The fit was perfect and they look great!

Thanks guys. Looks like either OEM mirrors which I can source locally, or EMGO ones are the go if I can get OEM sent over.

    Thanks.

I got mine from Thurn motorsports in Germany. They shipped them plus my tinted Signals to Canada just fine.
