I have a Givi sport touring windscreen on my 99 VFR and love it..It adds much better wind protection and does not upset the handling at high speeds. Check out my photo gallery , there are pics ..The fit and finish is very good on the Givi..

Just do a search for "givi windscreens" on the web...I have seen them on ebay going for $45...My givi was on the bike when i bought it,,I also have the stock windscreen and changed it back to stock once to see the difference and its a big difference to me...

The Givi touring screen gives much more wind protection for me ,since i am 6ft1 and my upper body catches alot of wind with the stock windscreen..

I don't know what you mean by "performance" but I had one. It worked great at cutting down the wind. Helped when I used my Chatterbox to communicate, top quality, perfect fit. I got rid of it only because I didn't like the look and was tired of swapping screens when I needed to ride and communicate with my fiance. I went to a Laminar Lip. It works almost as good, looks worse when on but I can take it on and off easily.
I hope this rambling helps a little!

    +5 HP!!!

I like the Zero Gravity, Double Bubble, a lot. If you don't like the look of the touring screens, it's a good middle ground and reduces buffeting a LOT.

I'm considering getting an aftermarket screen, I like the look of that one.
