Does any of the smart folks on here know of an easy replacement shock upgrade for the 2nd gen bikes?

I have was able to do this with my 1985 RZ350 with a CBR600 shock, just change the bushing and thats it. Is there a similar swap for the VFR?

I have the CBR600 shock out now, I'll see if it fits, but just wondering. As an FYI, the conversion kit only cost me $99.00 shock and all. Its a remote res, fully adjustable (comp and rebound) and rebuildable.

    Econocycle.com <<< where I got it.

    Thanks,

Also, I'm looking for a used 4 into 1 system for my 86 Viffer. I'm having Dave Dodge do some head work, and he suggested one of these for better top end. Having my heads ported polished, valve seats reangled, and cams reground for higher lift and duration. Total cost ~1100.00 ain't bad.

There isn't anything that easy for your bike. For less than $400 I can set you up with something that would perform really well. It would start it's life as a CBR shock but I would heavily modify it to work on your VFR. The nice part is that during the process it would get fully revalve with a new spring so it would be completely dialed in. Let me know!

    Ze Ohlins?
They can rebuild and provide different rate springs for their shocks if the shocks need it, just give them a call.
