I dont want to sale it my wife say i have to she dont wont it siting in the garagge no more all iit needes is some feerings and mirrows and a gas tank and my buddy say it need a tuneup causae it be sitting for 17 years with gas in it and we hooked it up to hes big diesel trucch with it running to jam more amps into it case he say that might make it turn over we smell plastic burning so we stop it probably just a fusse i paid 2000 for it so i know this bike is worth more than i be asking for it so dont be loballing me if it dont sale i just keep it and fix it oh one more thing it dont have no tittle owner didnt pay off the loan at bank so they didnt give it to him he say you can go ask them and they will just give it to you cause north carolina say it been more than 15 years they write it off anyway and just give you the tittle any questions just ask me i know it wont last long so please hurry if you really want it.

2007 Yamaha R1 1000 Special Edition

 

Lets see. Won't turn over. Wrecked. 17 year old gas. No Title. $1500 for a ninja 500. Looks good to me. NOT!!!!!

 

But it is pretty much ready to go except for fairings, tank, ?exhaust, mirrors, motor, title.
But on the plus side it does smell like burning when attempting to start off a diesel trucch. How many bikes do you know of like this?

 

I bet anyone here could ride that Yamaha to it's full limit. The guy who is selling it has no idea who he is dealing with here. WE BAD!!

 

Of course just a little elbow grease and it can be like those $6000 bikes or a rat bike..............

Honda VF1000r Motorcycle

 

I saw an ad yesterday that listed a bike a "pristine condition" except for the cracks in the faring.

 

This one has been for sale for at least 2 years now. The guy won't come down on the price because he really feels that the paint job is worth it. Seriously.



I keep telling my wife I want to buy it just so I can save it from this guy.

 

Ad says "REBUILT TITLE-THEN CUSTOM PAINT" Anytime I see a bike with a custom paint job I know its been wrecked. It's like "the whole bikes apart anyway I might as well do something fancy with it."

"EVERY ONE WANTS TO SEE IT" but no one wants to buy it!

 

Funny! "It was running before it spit the rod out through the engine case and I parked it."

 

The super hero bike is a really, really sad sight. How little functioning brain material would he be operating with?
The only way it could possibly be worse is if he did it to a type R (cb1100r, vf1000r, vfr750r, rvf750r) which would be outright blasphemy.

 

I'm sure glad all these bad ads are only on Craigslist. I know for sure I never see any like that on the commercials on Oprah.

 

True but there are worse. Back in my bikes shop days my boss took a Moto Guzzi 1000 Convert in on trade. It was full dress, sky blue with air brushed pictures of the life of Jesus from the tank to the top box. The art work was very well done but it had limited appeal on the resale market.

 

OMG!!! Someone found the Lost Jesus Moto-Guzzi! This bike was made especially for The Pope and is the official motorcycle of the Catholic Church.

 

You know Badbilly, I think you are on to something. If the Pope had a bike it would be a Guzzi and most likely a dresser covered with Jesus art. The fact that it was an automatic and would putt along at low speeds while he waved to the crowed just cements my suspicion.
