OK, so I'm on board and thinking about buying a power commander with the O2 eliminator. How hard is it to install and have heard a few of you mount a switch on your clip ons to switch from two different maps. Don't know did-illy about this but have a great mechanic to help-----any input would be appreciated and thanks in advance. Best price ? and were is the usual place to mount ?

    It's super easy.

If you take your time, maybe an hour. If you drink coffee while you're at it.

The PC unit mounts on the right side of the rear cowl, under the passenger seat. You secure it with velcro and the rubber band tie. This means you have to sacrifice one of the storage areas for the PC. The wiring is plug and play if you bought the PC with the map loaded already.

The O2 eliminators are also plug and play. Disconnect the O2 connection at the bottom of your exhaust on the left side of the bike. Plug the plastic covers. Then secure the O2 wires with a heat resistant zip tie of some sort so they don't dangle.

Finish the job by having your Starter Valves Synchronized. The transformation will be amazing!

What! Seriously?, I thought you knew me by now  I actually have the toggle switch and I installed it without drilling any holes or with an external mount. Installation is pretty simple and without any issues, although I agree with OCLandspeeder, I have yet to get an official Dynotune and starter valve sync done. My original plan was to have a custom map made for high performance and another for max fuel economy so I could toggle between the two maps, but currently I have the stock map and a modified map that is close to my setup. I have since moved the location of the toggle switch to the left side of the center console, but the installation would be the same. Here's some pics of what I used and did.

I bought from Motorcycle Superstore when they had them on sale and I had a 20% off coupon. The stock map, and a few others are downloads off Dynojets website.

Yup. Motorcycle Superstore. Mine was specific to '06-'09 VFR800 California model with stock exhaust/K&N Filter. Like I said, plug and play for me since I have no other mods. PC has a few different versions. In either case you can download whatever map you want on it. I got the PC3. All I wanted was to get rid of that miserable lean condition around 5.5k RPM to 6.4k RPM that occured almost every time, and made the VTEC transition more abrupt at moderate throttle openings. Now the VTEC transition is seamless. I do mean seamless! It doesn't matter whether I'm at partial throttle or WOT, the transition is seamless. It's like a turbocharger gently spooling up. No more surging at low speed or small throttle openings during steady state cruising. I can dawdle along in 1st gear with the throttle just barely open, then I can crack the throttle and the engine would respond with a smooth surge of power. Try that on a stock bike and you will experience a bucking Bronco effect! This is the way Honda intended the VTEC to act but C.A.R.B/EPA mandated the emissions tuning, which created a twitchy throttle response and crappy stock VTEC transition.

    Just for the V.

Did you buy it yet? The V has all of the functionality of the III, plus some. Retailers only list the V for 2009 and up, becuase they are trying to burn up the III's they have in inventory (no facts to back it up.... just a hunch).

My vote would be for the V (giggity), that and I bought one with the AutoTune already.

You may want to give DynoJet a call and confirm that. My understanding is that the PCV will work for the 6 Gen VFR's. Unless that is where you got the 2007 and up info.

The web site I bought mine from listed the PCV for the 2009 only.
