Now I just got a curve-ball thrown at me, just found a Triumph Sprint ST 1050 for sale, I had never really looked into this bike at all, but it seems pretty similar to the VFR, from what ive read most people would take the Triumph if it weren't for the price difference, but I think this is a good deal.

Now, I realize i'm posting this in a VFR forum but try not to be biased lol but how does this sound, and would I be happy with this bike as apposed to a VFR?

"Sprint is low miles bike with no dents and always garaged. It has 11631 miles, tank bag, heated grips, elect outlet, Triumph sport exhaust, sliders, Throttlemeister, centerstand and the Triumph hard bags. $5200"

I don't think anyone on this forum is going to beat you up because you're considering something other than a VFR. At the end of day, you need to find the right bike for you that fits your budget. Sometimes that means you purchase what is put in front of you that most closely matches what you're looking for. I don't know anything about the Triumph, but others will hopefully chime in that can point you in the right direction.

Offer less - see if he will take it. VFR800 will change how you ride completely compared to what you rode. Smooth, handling, power - even on my 1990 vfr I did not get wet in the rain at speed.. just the tops of my shoulders.. because I am 6'3. You will love the newer VFR
