After much research I went to my local independent shop to get a set of pr2's to replace my worn pp2ct's. He had no pr2's in stock lots of pp and pp2ct, but kept recommending these Metzelers that he had on sale, about 50$ less than pr2's. He claimed they are just as good as the Michelins and get better milage. I can't find much information on these tires so any feedback would be appreciated. Also curious about the roadtec z8.

The M5's are outstanding. Really excellent grip and feedback. Mileage, well I have no idea what you expect. These are a super sport tire comparable to the Bridgestone S20 or Pirelli Diablo Rosso II. I've used them on my sport bikes and really like them.

If you are looking for mileage giving up grip look at the Z8

That's one brand of tire I have never tried. I bet they are really good. It's just that once I discovered the Bridgestone 014 - 015 - 016 - 016 Pro I never even consider anything else anymore.
