So I have an 83' with some kerker headers that my dumbass of a cousin (who owned the bike a few years ago) had cut the mufflers off of and crudely welded some blunderbust looking tips on. It's basically straight piped..

Anywho, the headers are rusted to all getout and for the past 2 years, I've been looking for an aftermarket replacement. It just doesn't exist.. Anyways, I've done just about everything else that I can to rebuild the bike (with the exception of the f2 wheel swap) and now I'm down to just the exhaust. Does anyone have just a stock exhaust in mildly decent shape (by that I mean no holes in the collector)? I don't care how the mufflers themselves are and I don't need the stainless downpipes coming from the rear cylinders, because I plan on putting some dual Jardin or something of the like shorty mufflers on and I already have the downpipes.

If anyone does, and would be willing to part with it, let me know. Like I said, it's kinda the last thing that I need so I'll pay a pretty penny for it lol. If anyone has an aftermarket with the headers in decent shape, I'll definitely be willing to drop some cash on it.

I have the same bike with a similar problem... only i left my original exhaust in florida.

I will be making a custom full exhaust before my shop gets too busy in the spring, so i could fairly easily make two or three instead of just one.

it will be four individual pipes with four individual mufflers, there will be no collectors or Y-pipes. in order to keep everything kinda equal length/volume, the mufflers for the front and rear will be staggered, so it may look kinda funny.

let me know if you're interested, your bike will need to be hoisted up to install the rear pipes, and removing your rear header pipes will probably be a royal pita.

I'm definitely interested. I've had those rear pipes off so many times that it's not even a task anymore lol. How much would you want for that bad boy?

I'm a young guy working 95 hours a week. Money isn't really a huge problem lol. Just out of curiosity, what kind of mufflers would you be putting on?
