    G'day VFRWorld and Forum Members,

So another new member and a very satisfied VFR owner.

I bought a brand new 2010 Model in mid 2011 and have not regretted it at all. I love the look of the latest model and also the performance. I have not been riding for all that long. Started out on a 2006 Suzuki GS500 back in 2009 which is a great all round bike but once proficient on it you start to look for a bit more power. When your mates are riding late model CBR1000 and BMW S1000RR you tend to be riding by yourself most of the time. So I found the VFR and have not looked back, literally...

This week we will be heading South from Sydney for the World Super Bikes at Phillip Island, Victoria. Always a good time for a road trip with like minded souls.

    Cheers,
    Swannee

    Welcome to VFRW.

Are you sure your bike is a 2010. Here in the states, 2010 was the 1200..

Yep, 2010 VFR800 bought new Jul 2011. VFR800 still being sold new. Not a fan of the 1200 as I think they've tried too hard to make something look revolutionary but just looks weird.

I have a sneaking suspicion that the majority of "new" VFRs sold in Australia were built in 2008/2009 and have been kept in storage by Honda Australia ever since. This explains why we STILL don't have the fucking ABS model here.
