I have the Heli bars on my 2002 VFR. I bought the Zero Gravity sport touring shield and it was fine for city driving but when I was on the hwy it bounced my head all around. Does anyone know which shield works best with heli bars? MRA? Rifle? I'm 5'11" and I have injured my neck twice and could use less turbulence.
    Thanks

This is really going to be hit and miss for you. Someone will say Puig is the best while others will say Zero Gravity, and others will say something else. It totally depends on your personal physique. Where one screen will be good for someone who is shorter in the upper torso with longer legs, that same shield may be terrible for someone who overall is shorted, but what height he does have, is in the upper torso.

I think you are going to take what you have and experiment with raising and lowering your head to determine where in relation to the top of your present screen, the turbulence stops. Use your imagination on how to do that. Then you need to find a shield that will come up that high.

I too have neck and back issues but each person's issues are different. What I did learn early in my riding career, like about 4 ago, was that I found to relax my neck and let the head just bobble around a bit. Your eyes will stay focused enough to safely ride while creating far less stress on the neck and back muscles. After all, you are not performing brain surgery, or doing vasectomies so perfectly clear vision can be compromised a bit. If you are not hip to that thought, then see what you can do to find a screen that meets your needs and desires.

    Good luck.

+1 on the personal decision. I just added a Zero Gravity Sport Touring and find that I do not have increased turbulence unless I am behind a semi. Good luck.

I've added a zero gravity double bubble. I'm 6'2" and I found it worked like a charm. Night and day compared to the stock screen.
