Yeah I won't worry about changing the rear wheel- I got enough projects already!

As for what am I waiting for?... waiting on a reply from the seller, then I'm (hopefully) going on a road trip!

Those corbin beatle bags are expensive! And I believe you have to have them painted as well...32,000 isnt terrible, as long as the bikes oil was changed regularly, most of these bikes are not sold to younger irresponsible holligans that tend to thrash the living shit out of everything they come into contact with, you should be ok...

Thats a nice looking bike and if its been maintained Id jump on it. Try to get him down on the price a little. You said youve been looking for that particular bike so youve found what you want. Wheres it at. The thought of having a member of this board take a look to see if its worth your time is idea. Good luck

Wow! now there's a find you don't see. Like others have mentioned those bags are like impossible to find, never mind what they would go for. 32 k ain't nothing on these vfrs. as far as looking at 5th and 6th because of this and that. those saying that less maybe one ;) haven't a clue what the 4th gen was all about. Pff on the tire tire size, no big deal here. Ask me how I know. in all that when the guy sends you the extra info, I wouldn't hesitate to buy it for the asking price, less maybe getting him to chip in for the fuel cost coming down with money in hand. Nice bike. you'd be hard pressed to do better. less having a Staintune mounted;)

Take a multimeter/voltmeter with you especially if you plan on riding it back because 3rd and 4th Gen VFR's are notorious for their electrical gremlins. Also have the owner show you how to remove the fairings because the older VFR's have an interlocking tabbed fairing system that is a pain in the ass and if you don't do it properly it is very easy to break the tabs especially considering the age of the brittle plastic. Pricewise it is a good deal with the bags included. If you want any chance at getting it cheaper don't tell the owner you are driving 600 miles to get it since he will know that you are not likely to turn around and go home over a few hundred dollars.

BTW....I love my 3rd Gen but having fuel injection and linked brakes is a great thing even with the potential problems that come with it.

Looks nice and seems like a good deal to me. I reached out the the seller back in December to see if he wanted to sell the bags separately. No go since he wanted to sell complete. Nice fellow though. If I didn't have a 4th Gen already, I would have considered it.

Without going into a political debate, the main reason is taxes. Taxes and tariffs. Blame the governments.
