Effing new guy - feb 2013

First street bike was a 1985 GS550 while I was in the Army. Great bike until the Ninja 600R came out the next year. Not to be out done by my riding buddies, I bought a GSXR 750 in 1987. A few years later a friend needed it for racing, so I sold it and got a used 1989 VFR750. I enjoyed that bike so much, it tainted me against inline fours forever. I have had V-twins , almost exclusively since 1997. Six TL1000S, one TL1000R, one RC51, one SV1000S and two VStrom 1000's. I only have the 2005 VStrom left.
This evening I added a 1998 VFR to the garage. I would have taken it out for a spin but it still has the original, 15 year old Dunlop ShiteMax tires on it. They look and handle horrible, it will stay parked until I can source a new set of shoes.

Nice score on the bike Loren. I was at the Cycle Gear in my area last week and they have a deal on Dunlap Qualifiers for $199 for the set. Seems pretty good. Have fun, shiny side up!
