Will La Chicky share this Email so we can actually see what the man says or do we just go for the revisionist version?

I myself just got a Email from Elvis that I won't share with anyone.

    Chicky,

I do believe we have met... Glad to you see you are still in touch with the film guys. I am anxious myself to see if I made the cut too even though I was riding liks crap that day. Hadn't been on Monica (my brutie) in months before that!

Hey Justin, yeah that's a nice bike you got there. I remember we talked a bit about it and how working on it sucks or is damn near impossible for some things because of the need for specialized tools. As far as riding like crap, that was why I suggested they let us to a run down each stretch before filming so we know what's coming and can ride our best. That first one at the top sucked.... I think for all of us. The first time I went down that stretch, I overshot the apex, saw the sand and made it even worse. I didn't feel so bad when I heard everyone else making similar comments.

Anyway, if you ever want a riding buddy let me know! If you ride off road at all I will soon be able to do that as well. I have been looking at getting a dual sport bike and it looks like I may be getting a WR250R.

yeah, the extra runs before hand didnt help much, although I think I pretty much did the same thing as you did on that first set as did Derek I know... I actually had a pretty bad push on the front end but that was mostly I thik because I saw the sand on the road and dove in a bit hard and apex'd a touch early then tried to correct and it all went to hell. I actually had a thought that They would capture slow-mo Justin tumbling on the ground and thought how cool would that look... HAHAHA. the rest of the day was, thankfully, uneventful other than your run-in with mr. ranger.

I do a lot of off road. My bikes not plated though but I might do that next month, just for shits. have any experience with off-road? My wife Jamie is trying to get her dirt legs still but just hasn't had the saddle time yet to become proficient. but shes still giving it a go. The WR is a good bike, my only complaint is that if you are getting a newer one, it is 4-stroke. BOO. Basically a detuned YZ-250F with lights and super reliable. I have an older 84 IT490 2-stroke with a YZ490 MX bottom end/tranny and updated modern YZ suspension with all kinds of hop ups - my wife calls it the widow maker and justifiably so. Its almost killed me a few times. Her name is Zoe (my dirt bike). I love the smokers (2-strokes).

Might be doing a lake ride Friday if your interested... I'll let you know details later on that if its going down.

Anyway, back on track. Keep me up to date on the movie thing if you hear anything.

    - Justin

Cool, yeah keep me posted on riding. I have a little dirt experience. Quite a few years ago I rode a friends 450... I don't even remember exactly what it was. It was way too tall for me so I got on by stepping onto a milk crate and didn't get off until I was back at the milk crate... LOL!! It was some easy trails that day. A year or so ago I rode a friend's KLX250 up around Apex. I was a little nervous going over/across some of the shallow ditches and over some boulders and around the tight single track stuff, but I saw my friend do it without any problem so I just went for it. I was really surprised at how well those suspensions smooth it all out. A couple weekends ago a couple friends took me on the backs of their bikes down at Nelson. That was a lot of fun but the one thing I realized was how miserable the sand can be. One guy on a stock KTM 990 Adventure wore himself out getting stuck constantly. The other on. DR650 with Ricor suspension stuggles for 2 seconds, got on top of the sand and we were flying on it like Jesus walking on water!!

I will let you know when I get an off road bike and where we will be riding. Would love to ride with you and your wife too. Maybe she and I can help each other out. :). Sending you a PM with my contact info.

    Chicky,

Your jacket (skull and crossbones) sounds super cool. Can you post some pics of your jacket?

Here are a couple I did as a "photoshoot" for a friend who was taking a photography class... the assignment was just a motorcycle but I asked him to take some of me ON the bike as well for some other purposes. Not really the best views of the jacket, but you get the idea....

This is the final "bike only" pic he submitted for his class if you're interested... Anyone who bought the 2013 VFRWorld calendar will recognize this when they flip to February...

You'd never know my bike was sideswiped by a car on that side would ya? Yeah, he photoshopped it some, but even without that touchup, you can barely see the scratches...

I see you still haven't put new rubber on the front of your truck like I suggested when I was down there.

LOL, don't worry MVB. :) Badbilly is one of those lonely, insecure people who thinks he knows everything and has bad luck with women... and men. He really has nothing better to do with his time but troll the VFRWorld board and knock others. You will never see him posting about rides he does or his own bike or anything that indicates he has a life, but you will always see his posts following mine... so, I let him have his fun and just smile and shake my head, and just ignore him. If this stuff helps him get his rocks off, hey, I'm happy to help, because I'm a helper, that's what I do. Everybody needs some sort of outlet, right? We have motorcycles, BB has trolling motorcycle forums... whatever works, it's all cool.

    Awwww shucks, Mohawk... :embarassed:
