Looks like you wanted it more than you originally thought @ $1650

I hope it turns out to be a gem under the scuffed exterior. I'm actually near the end of a similar project at the moment and there were surprises along the way but nothing that couldn't be dealt with. I do have the benefit of being really close to the US market where the vast majority of spares are readily available. I imaging that shipping costs will be one of your biggest concerns.

So crank up a build thread with lots of pictures and I'm sure the members here will support your project as we usually do.

Hey Jethro ive just been looking through your threads for inspiration. Thanks for the Chinese fairing post - I was thinking of using those fairings to get the RWB colour scheme myself but I think I will steer clear of those as an option. Fingers crossed my fairings are will be OK anyway!

My Gen 1 project was defiantly costly due to no parts being available local but with the Gen6 there are more parts available local or at worst - in Aussie which is still cheap enough freight. As for the $1650.00 That is a bargain over here - with such a small population bikes like this hold their value very well.

I should get the bike delivered next week at I'll take some photos and get the thread started!
