Been looking for 8 months, but finally found it! 2009 VFR800A9. White and black, mint shape with very few KM's (6000kms).
Now I have to wait till the snow melts! Its going to be a long winter.
    I've come from having a CBR600 F4i....
    What can i expect?

Well for a start, you can expect that you'll need to get rid of the stock exhaust. I recommend either a Two Bros. M-2 system or something from Leo Vince. (The Staintune system is awesome but is far too expensive for what it is.)

    This is mine:

A little more power and a hell of a lot more comfortable ride (expecially on longer rides) is what I believe you can expect......
    Welcome to the Thunder Dome.......
The first thing I would do is get a nice seat if you plan on putting some miles/kms on her. Make sure she is as comfortable as you dreamed her to be and get a Sargent, a Corbin, or something like that. The price is a bit steep but worth it in a long haul.

I wish we got that color scheme in the US. The OEM hard cases are definitely worth it. I went the first 5 years on my '07 using a backpack and just bought the hard cases last winter. I now never take them off and don't regret the money spent as they are beyond convenient.

Black and white is my favorite color combo on these bikes. I think a lot of us would agree (except those with RWB). Too bad they never shipped any here to the US.

The bike looks awesome! I have the same one, I want to upgrade the seat as soon as I can. One thing I can tell you is those sexy white rims require lots of attention to keep them pretty. The brake dust gathers quickly.

Congrats on your purchase, mine gets lots of attention and I enjoy every ride!

Nice bike. Wish I had the black and white here in the states too. Everyone would be wondering if I were the police . May get a llittle more respect. Anyway I beleive the cbr 600 actually makes more power than a vfr and is lighter so its going to be quicker. But all that power is way up high in the rpms unlike the vfr that has a very broad powerband. I own the 98 and when im gloing through the corners I rarely go above 7 or 8 thousand rpms and it is making really good power. Comfort wise it. Is much much better. I still have my stock seat and I like it. Maybe if I were planning some long multi day trips I would look into another seat but for most riding it is very good. Enjoy

Looks great! Like a lot of the other US posters, I think that is about the best color scheme available!

Welcome. The bike looks sharp. You can expect a little more torque from the V4 and I think you will enjoy the VFR and more and you won't miss your old bike.

A belated welcome from up the Valley. You can order the seat cowl still but I don't know how much they cost. I replaced mine a few years back because I broke a tab on the original. I don't recall it being terribly expensive. But I guess that is a matter of opinion.

Sad as I am to say it, the CBR600 F4s have more power and more peak torque than the 5th and 6th gen VFRs, in addition to weighing considerably less. I'm not sure why so many people think otherwise.

What to expect? A much more comfortable bike with a lot more options for luggage, a longer range, and lower vibration at highway speeds. All of this at the expense of a little power and a significantly less responsive ride. Depending on the kind of riding you do, it's a really really good payoff.

For the most part, I think that most people on this forum understand this and acknowledge it. I too owned a CBR600 a number of years back and yes, it will outperform my 6th Gen. The VFR is comparable though, which for the average Joe, is all they really need - they just don't know it :)
