I hope the title didn't get your expectations up (pardon the pun) too high!

I'm just excited because I just got my wheels back from the powder coater and they look awesome! To me anyway. Takes me back to 1990 when I rolled my new 3rd gen out of the crate and proceded to bathe and wax my new pride and joy. Apparently they had soem fun with the rear wheel off-gassing and the had to redo it a couple of times. Now I just need to install my new Kurvy Girl 82 degree valve stems and mount the rubber. Of course, I still have many weeks of winter to endure before a wheel can safely turn on the road around here but for the moment I'm quite happy!

8 spoke is the heaviest production Honda wheel made for an already over weight bike.....however, the white is easily the fastest and blingiest color of them all....weight be damned. Form before function. Thank gawd they aren't yellow........

On the topic of wheels, who the hell makes mag wheels for a Gen 6?! I can't find anything anywhere! - I've searched the forum and all I come up with are old links that no longer work.

There's an eBay vendor who makes a single nut conversion kit, after which I could use Ducati wheels. Has anyone here done that?

Well, well, well....I contacted the guy on eBay who claims to make conversion kits, asking him if he could make one for a Gen 6 bike.
His own eBay advertisement says "WE ALSO CAN BUILD FOR ANY SINGLE SIDE SWING ARM EQUIPPED VFR"

He wrote back saying that I would need to bring my bike in so that he could take measurements. I explained that this was not possible but that he would be able to get accurate measurements from any Gen 6 bike, i.e. any bike built between 2002 and 2012.
The fuckwit responded with a derisive message, mocking me and telling me that what I had said was one of the silliest things he'd ever heard.(?!)

He also made irrelevant and disparaging comments about FOX News. (?)

So, that guy is obviously a total dickhead and I recommend that no-one deal with him.

Those look real nice. Im debating if white powder coat is feasible for me because I live on two miles of dirt road. White rims sure look good on the RWB. Im very tempted.

I keep mine waxed and wipe them with detail spray before every ride. They clean very easily, and I mean no offense, but when I see another RWB with stock rims I just think that the white rims are the way the bike should have come.
