    hi all
    need your advice. i have vfr 800 1998. last month the FI turns on. and than i feel that the engine cuts and has less power .it has 8 flashes that means something wrong with the throttel sensor. the mechanic checked the the wire the connections and clean the sensor. but the problem came again. when i turned off the engine everything it's ok till the next time.what do you think guys?

    1. Loose or poor connection on TP sensor
    2. Open or short circuit in TP sensor wire
    3. Faulty TP sensor

    Thats what the book says anyway..

    i had alot of trouble with my viffer lately.changed r/r change water pump. the mechanic put another sensor but the problem remain.i have a new wire harness but it coast almost 500 $ to chnge.do you think it will help or it is better to sell the bike and buy another

    It would fix shorts or opens in the wires. Worth it? Well I guess that depends on how much you like the bike.
