new guy with 95 vfr 750

    bought it and tore it down immediately. Bought an 09 cbr 600rr as to transplant the forks and thats done. Here to ask questions and seek knowledge.

    headlight taken apart and put back together in order to put the barrel nuts on the inside. word of advice is to epoxy the barrel nuts in conjunction with the prongs.

    supplies for making a windscreen fairing out of an old vfr750 windscreen.

    template transferred and drilled some relief holes to make cuting easier

    after about 30 minutes of work this is the result. I will slowly work on it every day until its done. I will mount it using the 2 brackets towards the top of the headlight with plastic screws.

    Wow, this looks good. Is it pretty much a straight swap of the front end from the CBR? This definitely is a good project? Do you have ABS/linked brakes on your VFR?

    direct swap and I dont have linked brakes because its a 1995 model.

    so this bike was definitely not made for hid's. Blew my headlight fuse and didnt realize it was my blown hid ballasts until I had already taken tank and throttle cables apart because I was going to replace all the wiring. Have to get a relay harness to make the hid's safer.
