Apologies if there are answers to this question already but.......I purchased a pc5 which came with the stock map for an 09. Question is, should I run with that map or do I need to use the map created for the 03's/pc3? Another map all together? Compared the 2 AFR tables and they are very different. Bike is all stock, no mods. Cheers.

Use the map that closes to your current set up
There is no such map for 03 or 09
PCV is newer and more selection. Function is the same
What is your bike current set up?
Do you have after market exhaust, k&n filter.......etc

Sorry did not read the last sentence
Did you do 02 Eliminator? You should be able to down load a map for stock set up from their website

I have the map for the 2009 all stock, although it doesn't specify O2 eliminators like the stock map for the 2003 and PC3 does. I am planning on installing the eliminators. I am just concerned as to how different the AFR's between the two are.

I bought the PC5 for my 2007 last winter. It came with the O2 eliminators and as you said, the map that comes pre-installed is for a stock bike with the eliminators installed. That is what I've run for the last year and it is fantastic compared to stock. My bike has lost about 4 MPG, but it is well worth it to not have the surging and choppy on/off throttle conditions. It is the best modification that I've made to my bike so far.

Thats good to hear. Although, from what I understand Honda made some revisions to the programming of the ECM on the 2006 model year and also went to a different type of injector (someone please correct me if I am wrong). As such, the V TEC engagement went down to 6200 RPM versus 6800 RPM on my 2003 model and Air fuel ratios would have had to change as well with different injectors. Anyone out there with a pre 2006 model installed a PC5?
