Looking for a new windscreen for my 3rd Gen. Anyone know where to find them? I've searched and searched but all that comes up are the cheap chinease windscreens on ebay. I already have one of those and it cracked from a stone thrown from a truck on the highway. I see plenty 4th gen and newer but nothing for the 3rd gen. Who has them?

I ordered one of the last oem third gen screens in the country last year for my b-day. It came in and was scratched as they packed it like morons. I ended up doing some research and found a UK company called Skidmarx, thats what I ended up buying for a fraction of what the oem screen was gona cost. Optics are great, not as good as a Zero Gravity, but better than the crap that I bought off ebay from china that ultimately broke!

The screen also has the gill cut in it to boot! There is a company in Fl called Gusstafeson Screens, he sells them un-drilled, so you have to sweat using a lexan drill and bulls-eyeing everying perfect. The Skidmarx screen was pre-drilled and fitted great. I had a Goose screen and found when I laid it on the bike, it was too wide. He wanted me to take measurements and send it back to him, and he would have trimmed it. I was like F-that, I want re-fund.

There are pictures of the screen on 3rd gen bikie pictures...Let me know how you make out...

MRA still makes them last I heard. It may have to be ordered from Germany, but I looked into it about two weeks ago and the part numbers were still active, and not discontinued. I will try to dig up what store gave me that information, they were out of Miami, Florida.

Thanks for the replies guys. I'll look into Skidmarx and MRA. Unfortunately I'll be deploying in a month so there's a good chance I wont see the windscreen for a good 7 months after I buy it.

Hey mr smack doogle. I have a stock 97 windscreen From my bike I would be willing to let go. Its in perfect condition, i just took it off to replace it with a tinted one. Let me know if you want it and I can post it for sell on amazon. I'll give you a fair price, I don't think I'll ever need it again.

Thanks but I'm pretty sure your 4th gen screen won't fit my 3rd gen.

I went with the Skidmarx Double Bubble seen here:

    Honda VFR750F L-P 90-93 - Double Bubble Screen -

but had to go through their US distributer here:

Fairings, Huggers, Undertail, Seat Cowel, Screen, Belly Pan, Fender Extender :: Streetfighters by Design

$115 shipped. Ouch!!!!! Really hoping I get it before I deploy to Bahrain.

I have one as well and love it. It gives you the possibility to control the airflow. In hot weather you can get more air to helmet cooling and in chill weather you can direct the wind over your head. I recommend!

I got a Double Bubble from Skidmarx. Actually, just got it in today so it'll go on the bike tomorrow. Thanks though, I'll be bookmarking that link.
