So what's anybody think of this new bike from honda? Has the infamous V4, single-sided swing arm, similiar frame, if they raise the handlebars its my interceptor on steroids. I think the few extra cc's will make this my next purchase because nothing else is like an interceptor but this baby is! see the quick review in latest cycleworld...:cool:

Looking at the pic now, I don't think it has a SSSW. I see standard chain adjuster on the rear. Looks awesome, but if it's priced too high I'm out.

I think before anyone starts making decisions about this bike, I would suggest sitting on one someplace, pumping the clutch and brake levers, twisting the throttle and making vroom-vroom noises.

The logic in that is that if someone does that, it becomes the standard by which the bike will be judged.

Ooo, doing my usual inter-net checking with it being guarded, now it's looking this certain V4 supersport could be over $100,000. hope not, as that leaves me out and looking at a RSV4R or? Knowing it's all rumors I have hope it's not going to be that bad. But then I couldn't afford an RC30 either, so why should this be any different. Then if that's not bad enough, the photos I have seen have it, it's not going to be all that street worthy, more a case of a bike made to fit a certain race application that's street legal. i.e. RC30/45 Don't get me wrong those are great machines, but It needs to be street worthy like a CBR1000, Still :) I'd like to think Honda might take a peak at what Aprilia is doing.........Right

one could Hope & Wish it gets close for what an RSV4 goes for.

What your looking at is a rendering or photographic image. Look closely on the windshield you'll see Kardesign. Here's their motorcycle portfolio website: kardesign

    Cool stuff!

Yeah it says all over it is a concept, so it'll be years before it gets released to the public anyway. I love the way the bike looks though, definitely a bike I would upgrade to.

That's their "idea" of what it could be- remember that they already make the RC213V for the MotoGP crowd... SSSW and RC is all I need though, I can always put Interceptor stickers on it at home!

    New Interceptor

With BMW saying they now have over 30% of the 1000cc market, I bet Honda will put out a nice V-4 with all the electronic goodies for about $20,000.00. They haven't had too many "Performance First" hits lately. As long as it is not a boutique bike, for $50,000.00.

It might be time for the manufacturers to do some rethinking on all the shit they think should make up a motorcycle. Realizing we all think with the right bike and the right chip and the right seat and the right paintjob we could all be another Mike the bike or Joey Dunlop or any of the other fast guys. WAIT! They went fast without all that shit and had things like carburetors (OMG!!)

Some of us have a few bucks but 25-30 K for a bike that most of us are not even able to come close to it's limits is bloody silly. Kind of like getting laid for real as opposed to a handjob.

Next we will hear from the dudes here that can ride an "oldie" vfr to its absolute limits whom we should worship like Gods.. LOL
