    ZimZima,

Looks like there are a lot of VFRs out west, but no worries, they are alive and well in Toronto. I am downtown and see a couple of others fairly regularly that commute (in better weather), parking around here.

I had the VFR on the roads for a bit on Saturday, but the streets are a mess (sand, gravel and exploding roadways. also we are now expecting snow again, so I guess it really is early still!

Your not kidding about those roads. I have already hit a patch of gravel in the middle of a turn and I've only been out once this year. At least I expected it so no harm done, but the weather looked like it had finally turned for the better last week. This is agony.

It has to come to an end soon, isn't global warming on our side now? at this rate I will still be snowboarding at Easter, and just looking wistfully at the bike. On the bright side it is well polished!

I ordered the tail rack and plate and a couple of small things from David Silver a few weeks ago. I placed the order on a Thursday afternoon (in Toronto - already night time in the UK), received the conformation email with shipping cost on Friday AM, and the entire shipment was dropped at my door on the Tuesday. very impressive!

I would order from them again without hesitation. are they maybe backordered on something that is causing the delay? maybe it's the rockies <grin>.

Black bags. I'll post some pics this weekend when the snow melts and I can roll some stuff out of my very tight garage to get them on. Think it was 10 days, but I'll have to check. (Checked, it was 9 business days<but I didn't pay extra for them to come quicker, which was offered>)

So... the world is white and salted and cold again today! When is this going to end and let us get on the roads consistently? The snow is supposed to repeat right through the Easter weekend.

    take care everyone,

I was skeptical (are they REALLY the factory hard bags in '02 black???) They had me send my VIN and colour code to confirm. Sure enough, they're the correct black (not the newer flat black or metallic black). Photos soon.
