    Hi
Just started the engine breakdown from my previously completed mint vf500 due to leaking countershaft oil seal.
Need some advise on the split cases do I need Honda liquid gasket seal or the high temperature version.
Also the Cylinder head covers, I have new gaskets but the manual also states the use of sealant is this like silicone seal something special or du I ned to bother.
Any other advise appreciate never done this before, I have see the one by Ron ceri which was scared, already got a broken bolt.
Ps know where I can get a oil pan gasket not sold anymore
    Cheers
    Chris

I've always used black RTV between the case halves.

Splitting cases is a treat. Enjoy!
