I'm still running my stock seat and would like to upgrade on a budget ( as in I don't have $350 for a seat for a 13 year old bike). I do ride quite a bit but haven't found an affordable replacement. Has anyone tried to modify their own ( saw a dyi on the internet...) or know of any upholstery places in the Bay Area (San Jose) that wouldn't cost more than $250? Thanks for your input...

i would suggest looking in the phone book for an upholstery shops in your area, I got mine done in red ostrich leather with a firm memory foam for about $200.00. I had to do some research and fine a shop that does motorcyle seats. Was like finding a needle in a haystack. However the finished product is perfect for IronButt Rides, and makes my bike look totally different.

I have a Corbin off a '99 that you can have for $250. If you're interested, I can send pics. It's in great shape with only a small wear spot on two of the bottom corners. You don't see them when it's on the bike. I have no idea what shipping would be, but if you think it would work for you, we can work something out.
