heated liners etc. with vf500?

    Hey folks I have a 1986 interceptor 500 and I was wondering if the electrical system can handle 1 of those heated jacket liners? Gerbing's makes a liner which uses 12 v , 6.4 amps, and 77 watts.

    The alternator is rated 18.5 amps min. @ 5000 RPM, 15.8 amps @ 2000 RPM.

    are there any specs for the charging system anywhere? Thanks for the info about the amps by the way.
