When I first started looking at my VFR I noticed the electric fuel pump didn't work. A few love taps with a hammer and she came back (for a little bit) I started searching ebay for used pumps and found one for 25 bucks (not tested, like its some big deal to test it*) well jumped on it and sure enough it didn't work when it showed up, till I hit it with a hammer (love tap). Has been running about 500 miles, but now it's leaking (right onto the exhaust). So was looking around again and see one for 85 bucks on ebay used but tested.... Then I figure hmmm lets search for a new one, new it's 122.50 plus shipping, time to go new :)

*Testing a simple pump like this is just hooking the + to the Black/Blue wire and the - to the green. If the pump doesn't turn on few light taps with a hammer might free it up, unless the points are toast.
