Hello from Oklahoma

Hello everyone, picked up a clean 08 last week with 12K on it. I have been riding about 30 years but it's been about 10 years since I had a sport bike. I look forward to chatting with everyone and sharing adventures.

It must be getting a bit chilly down there by now although I remember riding into December when I lived in Wichita so maybe not eh?

 

Okie biker, I just picked up an 06 VFR and I live in Tulsa. About 20 years since I have ridden, but man is it a blast getting back in the saddle. Message me if you want to do some riding sometime or if you are a part of any bike groups in Tulsa.

thanks everyone, I just spent about an hour removing all the touring stuff and the ugly rear fender. I have a cruiser with bags and wanted a sportbike that was not all bent over. was looking into a zx14 and then I remembered the vfr and when I rode one I realized it was the right choice for me.

 

What do you want for the hard bags and accompanying mounting hardware? I might beinterested if you send me a PM.

 

Welcome, and what are you going to do with the stuff you took off? If you are looking to get rid of it you can sell fast on this forum.

 

Looks like Randy types faster than me! That's OK I don't need this stuff but others may.

 

If you are interested, Maggot, shipping to you might be considerable less than to me. Oklahoma to British Columbia is quite a distance and UPS could be expensive.

 

I will keep that in mind guys, but I think I want to keep it all together in case I try something like riding out to california. Thays something I have allways wanted to do
