You know I have been a Stoner fan for a few years. I also would like to see him win.
Dani has what it takes to win it, if he can just deliver...
Lorenzo is feeling his former glory. It is obvious he can taste it again.

I am already looking forward to next season. New rides for a few. Lots to ponder for Ducati and Spies' mechanics. Not to mention the satellite riders(it has been a good season for them for sure).

Does Stoner still retire, and if he does stay retired? Seems a shame to walk away now.
Spies can't wait for next season either.

Stoner will most likely end up racing tin tops in the V8 Supercar Series in Oz...he ain't comin' back. What does he have to prove? after all, he sorta made Rossi look like his bitch with the whole Ducati thing..... he'll walk away happy with that and two championships. With the upcoming limitations, why stick around?

I feel for The Fairy, err Pedrosa; too bad he went out like that, but at least he showed he's got the stones to finally make a season of it.

It was great for Casey; given the whole turn 3 thing, and 5 consecutive wins (now 6), would suck to not get it on his Swan Song.

George is George; I'm still not a fan, likely will never be.

I am still sorry for Nicky, I don't know when/if Ducati will ever get their act together; but, he made his own bed as well, cause he could have gone elsewhere (or so the rumors say).

Next year is gonna be interesting; we'll see what in the world Spies was thinking, and if it makes any sense at all. We'll hear all the Rossi hating continue; George will continue to do his boring, points metering with another shot at the championship; Pedrosa will try again (and likely fall short - pun intended - again); Nicky will continue in the 5-10 range, and then there'll be all the new kids on the block; can't wait to see how that goes...

Frankly, 2014, with all the proposed changes harbors much more interest for me... And then, there's Dorna potentially destroying WSBK; and that would be the biggest crime of all, IMNSHO.

Dani gained a lot of new fans this year with his grit and determination, I think there are at least six or seven of us now outside Spain ;). The next big thing is going to be Marquez on the RCV for the test following the Jerez round.

Gotta love this Quote about Stoner at Philip Island

"So dominant has Stoner been at Phillip Island that of the 162 race laps run over the past six years, Stoner has led 160 of them."

A moment of mourning for those of us in the USA as we watch the passing of SpeedVision, as it used to be called, into the full time round the clock roundy round NASCAR channel. With maybe an X Games event thrown in at 3 am just for fun. It would be surprising if any bike racing at all makes it to American TV next season other than AMA. Not to worry sure Dorna will be ready with its combo WSBK/MOTOGP packages online. That was especially funny that SPEED cut away from the last WSBK race of the year with eight laps to go and the championship on the line to show a forty car pile up at some place called Talledega. Classic, that was awesome.

Now that F1 has left Speed is free to show as many talking head BillyBob bullshitter shows about NASCAR as they can find people with southern accents to announce.

It seems the last race of the season was anything but boring. I will start a new thread for the 2013 season.

    Happy trails, Casey Stoner.

I really got into motogp this season and am bummed out Stoner retired.
They need to figure out how to keep the riders from those wicked high sides.
It seems like if the bike would just slide out they'd low slide and have a safer wreck, instead the traction control fights it and then the bike flicks over and they are bucked off.

They should return it back when men were men and have absolutely no computer assistance at all. But that will never happen. Also , if the prototypes are 10 miles faster then the CTR,s , there just moving hazards getting in the
way----look what happened to (LORENTHO)- isnt that how you say his name? JMFO

oh, you mean back to the days when the honda nsr500 made 165 HP? The latest prototypes are making upwards of 240 HP. That's a pretty substantial power difference.
