I can honestly say that I have wanted a VFR for about ten years. I had done the research and knew that this is the bike for me. But whenever I had the opportunity to buy one, something always came up financially and I ended up settling for something different. It got me on two wheels which was what I wanted but it just wasn't the bike that I loved. Today I pick up my black 06 and I can't wait. I've been reading your stories about VFRs without being able to add any of my own. Today, that changes. Hope to see some of you on the road.

Jay, good luck on your new bike and let us know about your early riding experience on the VFR. It's always fun to hear from VFR newbies.

I know the feeling! I just picked mine up last week. It still hasn't worn off yet. Congratulations.

I got one days worth of riding in, then the weather turned nasty. Now the bike is sitting there waiting for the sun to come out. It's just above freezing and it's supposed to rain for the rest of the week. Summer can't come soon enough.
