When I saw the first 750 Interceptor in magazines, then at the LA International Motorcycle Show, I said I had to have one. I put down deposits at two shops in Ohio and had one of the first bikes to hit in Ohio, red. (The blue ones were faster.) Still have it today and it's very cherry but has about 35,000 miles. But! The tail section stripe has a bit of damage and I'd really like to find a new one or a perfect used one. I have cash and various parts to trade including a red VF fuel tank. Can anyone help? MM
That is remarkable that you still own that bike after all these years. I've have some new and used parts for the '86 750, but nothing for the 1st Gen. Sorry.
Almost sounds like my story. Got the first Interceptor Penton Honda got in. Just curious on what your frame number is, mines 820 and the bike was Red. What part of Ohio? As far as your stripe, I would say you have three choices. Paint, have a decal shop make one or fine a mint tail section in your color. The last one would be like winning the lottery. Yes we need pictures....................
