1986 VF500 carb bowl gaskets

    I was looking to replace the leaking, hard-as-rock bowl gaskets on my VF500. Since AFAIK they are not available as a seperate dealer item I did some reasearch here and found where the VR750 can use a 3 1/8 o-ring. Those are too big however the 3" is a perfect fit and only .60 ea. from McMaster Carr. I hope this helps someone else.

    You can snatch up correct carb bowl gaskets on Ebay, as well. I replaced mine.
