Hi folks, I'm looking for a new helmet. Since I'm going to get one anyway, I figure it might as well match my bike.

I have searched but with little success. Can you help with some suggestions, maybe?

It doesn't have to be a perfect match, just so long as it complements and is compatible with the RWB paint scheme.

    Thanks!

    Rich

Do you like solid colors or are you more into graphics? Do you favor a traditional style helmet or modular??

I'm probably more of a solid color type. Graphics are OK, but I don't like anything too busy.

I'm not sure what the difference is between traditional or modular.

    Very nice. Definitely an option.

Modular, is where the front section of the full face helmet swings up.

I have an AGV Miglia helmet in solid blue color which happens to match very close to the blue on the RWB Anniversary Edition. It is a modular helmet though so I'm not sure if you would want that. You can find these on clearance at several places for less than $150. If you don't mind a flip up front it's a good helmet.

The Bell MSX and AGV Stealth seem to match the best IMO. Nice finds Stosh! I like the motto on the MT Thunder..."Laugh or Die !!!"

I'm afraid that "Evel" skidlid may start rumors of something like Elvis sightings amongst the harleydoods.

RWB? There's always the "Captain America" knockoffs.

If you have more of a round shaped head, you will LOVE the KBC. I have had my KBC Racer1 for years and it is the best fitting helmet I have ever had.

KBC made great helmets but small market share has led to (I believe) them closing shop. You can still find the VR4R and I am thinking about picking up a "plain" CF model, before they are no longer available. My hat size is 7 5/8 and my KBC is a size L.

Thank you ALL for the great feedback!

I see several that will fit the bill just fine. Now for some comparison shopping...

I got tired of my plain white HJC helmet, so I used the RWB VFR as my inspiration.
I'm no paint expert, but it came out ok.

OK, just how did you do that??? I'm sure I can manage the masking tape, but how did you get the right colors? Is it automotive paint?

I originally used satin red/ blue, but the blue wasn't correct so I found Rust-olium metallic blue. It's all rattle cans, and I just eyeballed the tape down .
I'm on the fence if I should clear it in satin or gloss. But it still needs the silver Honda recalling to complete the look.

I do like that AGV listed above. Joe Rocket (which I have) makes both a red carbon fiber and a blue carbon fiber helmet. The red matches the red "Honda" logo on my '06 nearly perfect.

I'm inspired! I just ordered a white RPS-10. That was my original helmet choice, but I was going to get the Ben Spies one for $350. Now I'll get the white one for much less, and paint it myself. Next year I'm going to get the Bell M5X pictured above in this thread. It's technically not for sale in the U.S., but vee have vays to acquire the needed items :potstir:

Thanks again for ALL the help, everyone!
