Looks like a motherload of 2nd gen 750 stuff.

Its a lot of work. My first choice would be to break up and share with the list, but I just dont have the time. Ive got 3 small kids that need my time more than these old bikes. I need the garage space and I need the cash. Ive had some good times with them. Ive restored 4 and sold off 2 runners already. Ive got a vintage racer who is interested in the whole set...but we will see.

 

McViffer, I understand, and I also feel the frustration (I'm getting ready to post my own garage clearing-house).

However, if you happen to have a fork brace loose in there somewhere, I'd be very interested in it.

 

Me too, both my VFR's told me in whispered voices that they would really like fork braces.

 

Good luck with the sale McViffer, I'm sure you already know it, but that is an absolute goldmine of 2nd Gen parts sitting there!! If I had the cash sitting around, I would willingly sacrifice my garage space for all these old girls.

Hopefully, the lot goes to someone that will take the time to put them all back on the road!

I pulled it thinking Id throw a VFRworld Gen 2 garage sale FIRST. Working with wifey on the details.

 

Ill start a thread in the next week or so when we work out a system. Folks who have already asked for specific parts will get priority. Thanks

 

McViffer, my wife and I did the same (but on facebook/twitter/g+) for a bunch of stuff that we wanted to get rid of before we put our house on the market. It worked really well for at least reducing the amount of stuff that goes away in bulk.

Plus, I can a few more things I'm looking for:

- left inner fairing (black plastic one)
- assorted fairing bolts that haven't been stripped
- aluminum fairing stay that screws into the frame right by your knee
- rear turn signals (although I'm still drooling over the Rizome Zero11s)

 

Fork brace if ya have en extra one or two here!

 

still looking for that near perfect pearl whit from cowl thats not sunfaded for my 87 vfr700f2..gregg

 

Sent you a ebay message as well, I'd like a yoshi 4 into 1, or two of them, and dibs on a 750 engine as well.
