This is so wrong on many levels! It shouldn't have been allowed to get this far, since it wasn't the first tyme he took out his anger / frustrations out on others.
Hope they put his ass in prison!

 

man I hope he gets jail time, cause he's always going to have it out for riders, hopefully no rider ever has to deal with him again

 

I'm not taking his side but the bottom line is that nobody knows the exact circumstances of what happened simply by reading a short paragraph from a website or newspaper. Based on his past history he is likely to be at fault but I've learned never to make assumptions without the full facts. His fate will be decided by a jury and if found guilty he should be punished to the max.

Let's see, road rage, door kicked, attempted vehicular homicide, pulls into Police Station parking where its SUPPOSED to be safe and gets shot in face. Oh, yes, and there's bail involved????????????????

While I agree that we don't know the circumstances of the incident, seems to me the motorcyclist led the chasing cager right to the police station. I have been in this situation, without the kicking of doors but everything else, and the cager broke off or I was able to dust him before being allowed to take them to the LEO shop, but that's where I was headed if they wanted to follow. Far as I can tell, motorcycles were speeding and it pissed off Mr Trigger happy. Something tells me he should have had his carry permit yanked a while ago, it's made for self defense, not for instigating a fight on the road because somebody's driving sucks.

 

Happened here but it was a harley tool brandishing the gun - of course...

 

I would have loved to see the roles reversed..... "Cager while driving kicks motorcyclists door in" lol.

 

I don't give a fuck WHAT could have happened.

Fact - The asshole CHASED the motorcyclists to the police station where he CHOSE to get out of his car packing a firearm, get into an argument and shot the motorcyclist in the face.

There is NO excuse for what he did. Even if there were SOME kind of justification (let's say the motorcyclists sped past him and threw shit at the windshield), they stopped AT A POLICE STATION. Did mister douche bag get license plates and go file a complaint? Nope. After chasing them down, he proceeded to shoot one of them in the face. That is a plea bargain at manslaughter. There is a strong argument for murder 2. Sounds to me like angry dumb fuck needs to spend the rest of his days in prison.

Bottom line....you dont shoot someone in the face. How dumb can you be? At a police station!!! The guys obviously got issues that go deeper than road rage.

 

it aint right, but gramps has got some brass stones that is for sure... shooting someone in the parking lot of a PD...wow... he needs to got to jail... I love the fact that his family was removing the weapons from his house.... gonna go out on limb and speculate that there was probably a nice assortment of modified weapons that they didn't want the Police to get a hold of...... pure speculation mind you... but highly probable.... oh and yeah he should get his carry permit shredded and his DL shredded for ever never to get them back

 

Given how it ended, I don't care who started it. The cager needs jail time and a civil judgement so large he won't be able to afford bus fare.

 

So far, nobody has suggested counseling. Have all the treehuggers found a new venue?

Yup. A lot of this is speculation. We seldom get the whole story from the media. Only bits and pieces that make news interesting and sell advertising. Who knows? All those weapons being loaded into the car could be the family being cooperative with the police asking them to bring in any weapons he owns before he gets released on bail. But again, that is just speculation. They could be hiding them as mentioned before.
