Hi all, I bought an '85 VF1000R back in may and just got around to getting it running (My friend calls it a bike in a box(s)!) So far so go, I will be taking it apart this winter to go through everything, no that I know I have a sound motor. My first bike was an '84 VF500F way back in '89! Loved that bike. Anyways, thanks already for all the help from the posts, I read them almost daily as I tackle various issues. Pics of the re-build are forthcoming!
