    Dear All,

Corbin Beetle hard bags are so beautiful but they let water in. Did anyone find a solution to this problem? Please share.

Cheers and thank you for proper responses!

They seem like really nice bags, where are they leaking, and have you contacted corbin?

    Pics?

Mine on my '98 don't seem to leak. Are the gaskets on yours seated correctly?

Thank you all. I bought a set of bags because they fit so well on the VFR. Before I bought them I found that some people complain about leaks, I went ahead and bought them anyway.

Your responses are reassuring, thank you. If anyone has had leaking problems and found a solution, please share it with me.

    Cheers and thanks!

    1. What are you storing in them, iced down beer? Sorry, could not resist.

    2. I NEVER trust any bag in the weather. That's what vacuum storage bags are for.

although its been a few years since the last comment I will add that the main problem with the corbin bags is the Southco Lock. They leak through the keyhole straight through on the inside. Im looking for a solution like a cap or something to put over it but its the lock position and design that let water in. Recently went to West Marine to get a new set and they both leaked the same way right out of the box so I returned them.
