    VFR700 in Denver too.

I have 1986 700 and live in Denver, 100% stock, and it gets up and goes pretty dang good. However, it is not a powerhouse superbike, stock they make 92 HP at the CRANK, so about 77 at the wheel, at sea level. On a hot day in Denver, your DA (density altitude) is about 8000', so you've lost about 2% per thousand or about 12.5 RWHP. That makes your real HP about 64 at the wheel. Like I said not a power house. For me its a sport touring commuter bike, power is not its thing.
